Offering Transportation Services Throughout Northern NH
Tri-County CAP Transit offers public transportation in Coös, Carroll, and Northern Grafton Counties. We provide elderly, disabled, low-income, and general public transportation through the following services:
Door Pickup Service:
This service provides direct pickup at your location, and drop off to your destination, for any purpose, Monday through Friday. Medicaid-insured riders can travel to medical appointments 7 days a week. We will arrive at your door, take you to your destination, pick you up when you’re done, and take you back to your home.
Flex Routes
Our Flex Route services are bus route loops with fixed stops and run continuously on a set schedule. Flex route buses combine the convenience and affordability of public mass transportation with the ability to access off – route destinations. These routes allow for deviations without creating excessive delays for other riders on the bus. Tri – County Transit Flex Route buses operate on a scheduled route, with deviations for pick-ups up to a 1/4 mile beyond the route. There are two flex routes:
- The Berlin – Gorham Flex Route operates on a 120 – minute schedule, connecting the towns of Berlin and Gorham.
- The Tri – Town Flex Route operates on a 135 – minute schedule, connecting the towns of Littleton, Lancaster, and Whitefield.
To schedule an off – route pick – up, please call (603) 752 – 1741 or TTY:711.
We do accept scheduled off – route pickups (within a ¼ mile) that are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Long Distance Medical Services
The LDM program is a volunteer – operated program to transport elderl y persons 60+ and disabled individuals to medical appointments throughout the tri – state area, including Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
- Cost : A fare isn’t mandated for senior riders over the age of 60; however, donations are always welcomed.
- Medicaid : We accept Medicaid as a payment source. Please call your health insurance provider directly to schedule your trip and request Tri – County Transit as your transportation provider.
